Speech and Language Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision Speech Language Therapy Cardiff Wales

I provide one to one, paired or small group specialist clinical supervision to speech and language therapists who want to develop their expertise and confidence in working with children, young people and adults with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties.

Supervision can by carried out face to face, via telephone or via Skype. Sessions typically last one hour.

My supervision draws on my own clinical specialism and supervision training. I make use of a range of techniques from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support your self-reflection, to facilitate your own problem solving and further develop your clinical confidence and expertise.

Please contact me to discuss your supervision requirements.

If I can help we can draw up a contract tailored to your needs and arrange sessions at a frequency that suits you.  Once we have started working together I also arrange regular reviews to monitor the supervision process to ensure you are getting what you need from our sessions.

Alison was a member of the Michael Palin Centre specialist therapy team for many years before she relocated to Wales. She is a highly skilled therapist and was respected and admired by her colleagues and all the families and clients she worked with. She contributed significantly to the development of our therapy methods, our teaching and our research programme. We highly recommend her to you – you will be in the safest of hands.
